If you're visiting this page then I can safely assume you've set yourself, or are thinking of setting yourself, a health/fitness related goal. CONGRATULATIONS!! Getting started is often the hardest part, so the fact that you've already taken that first step is awesome!

The next step is to make this goal actionable, as daunting as it can sometimes seem, I honestly believe that any goal can be achieved by breaking it down into smaller steps first. 

At Simplified Fitness my goal is to help you do just that!

After years of working face to face with clients there isn't much I haven't seen, I've trained clients from all walks of life with all sorts of goals and the formula is usually the same:

  • Discuss the long term goal

  • Break the long term goal down into smaller goals

  • Look at what lifestyle changes can help achieve these smaller goals

  • Managing expectations (sometimes these things take time, it won't happen overnight)

  • Regular check ins for accountability and to ensure the plan is working

  • Achieve one short term goal and set the next

  • Finally achieving the long term goal

Tailored Training Plan

Whether you've never trained a day in your life or you're an experienced gym goer, hiring a coach is a great step toward getting started or overcoming a plateau.

How it works:

  • We'll start with a questionnaire, followed by an initial consultation via video call to discuss whether I'm the right coach for you and your starting point, goals and any obstacles. 

  • I'll then write a training plan based off of this information, explaining how to track your workouts and the principles of progression.

  • I'll explain the methods of tracking we'll use, such as progress pictures, body measurements etc to ensure you're progressing.

  • Regular contact via email where I can answer any questions you may have regarding the plan.

  • A weekly accountability check in via video call or email (whatever your preference) where we can discuss your training, you can let me know of any issues and I can make any changes needed.

Alongside this you will also receive nutrition coaching to compliment your training...

Breakfast

1 to 1 nutrition coaching

Working directly with me we will look at your current nutrition and find ways to make improvements so that it compliments your training plan.

The approach we take will depend on your preference, it can include:

  • Calculating your calorie and macronutrient needs and learning how to track your food accurately and efficiently.

  • Designing a meal plan together based around the foods you enjoy so you don't get bored.

  • Learning how to prepare meals in advance to save time and always have something prepared to keep you on track.

  • Looking at your eating habits and behaviours, then seeing where adjustments can be made to help you make healthier choices.

  • Discussing your home/work environment, where you eat, when you eat etc. See if there is anything that may potentially sabotage your progress and looking at ways to overcome this.
